AI in medicine

What a book!
Cardiologist Eric Topol describes different advanced technologies and offers a balanced view of artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine. Focused on America Health care System but with global implications, different technologies are coming such as big data, deep machine learning that will free up resources to improve patient care and increase HUMAN EMPATHY.
Though imperfect, AI that pulls from millions of cases and research articles has already begun to aid doctors. Soon, AI may do most health care work at least “as well as” humans at a small fraction of the cost. AI could also transform nutrition science to allow personalized, optimal diets for everyone, as Nutrino Health tries to do.
Finally, for most people, remote care and virtual medical coaches could constitute the bulk of health care in a near future.
I strong believe AI will transform the mental health care field… what do you think? Will you be comfortable enough to speak to Alexa about your illness??
On the other hand… AI and machine learning face formidable obstacles: privacy levels, hacking or the fear of job loss… Is It worth the risk?
