Be in that moment.<br \/>\nIf you want to get out of the conversation, get out of it, but don&#8217;t be half in it and half out of it.<\/p>\n<p>-\ud835\udfee- DON&#8217;T PONTIFICATE. \ud83e\uddd1\ud83c\udffc\u200d\ud83c\udfeb<br \/>\nYou need to enter every conversation assuming that YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO LEARN.<\/p>\n<p>-\ud835\udfef- USE OPEN-ENDED QUESTIONS. \ud83c\udf99<br \/>\nStart your questions with who, what, when, where, why or how\u2049\ufe0f<\/p>\n<p>-\ud835\udff0- GO WITH THE FLOW. \ud83e\udde0<br \/>\nThat means thoughts will come into your mind and you need to let them go out of your mind. Stories and ideas are going to come to you. You need to let them come and let them go!<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; \ud835\udff1- If you don&#8217;t know, SAY THAT YOU DON&#8217;T KNOW. \ud83d\ude2c<br \/>\nTalk should not be cheap.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; \ud835\udff2- DON&#8217;T EQUATE YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THEIRS.<br \/>\nIf they&#8217;re talking about having lost a family member, don&#8217;t start talking about the time you lost a family member. It&#8217;s not the same. ALL EXPERIENCES ARE INDIVIDUAL. \ud83d\udc8e<\/p>\n<p>-\ud835\udff3- TRY NOT TO REPEAT YOURSELF. \u267b\ufe0f<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s condescending, and it&#8217;s really boring&#8230; We have a point to make, so we just keep REPHRASING it over and over&#8230; DON&#8217;T DO IT!\ud83d\udeab<\/p>\n<p>-\ud835\udff4- STAY OUT OF THE WEEDS. \ud83d\udd0d<br \/>\nPeople don&#8217;t care about the years, names, dates, all those details that you&#8217;re struggling to come up with in your mind. They don&#8217;t care. They care about what you&#8217;re like, AND WHAT YOU HAVE IN COMMON.<br \/>\nSO FORGET THE DETAILS. Leave them out.<\/p>\n<p>-\ud835\udff5- The most important one: LISTEN \ud83d\udce1<br \/>\n\ud83d\udc68\ud83c\udffc\u200d\ud83e\uddb2Buddha: &#8220;If your mouth is open, you&#8217;re not learning.&#8221; \ud83e\uddd8\ud83c\udffb\u200d\u2640\ufe0f<br \/>\nIT TAKES EFFORT AND ENERGY TO PAY ATTENTION TO SOMEONE, but if you can&#8217;t do that, you&#8217;re not in a conversation.<\/p>\n<p>-\ud835\udfed\ud835\udfec- BE BRIEF \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>\u279c Be interested in other people.
